I am Sarah and I am currently attending the Art Institute of Colorado for Photography. I focus on plant photography, and strive to eventually sell my art to corporate businesses to hang in their offices. I like to photograph how the natural light hits the plants.

Denver Botanic Gardens Portfolio Pieces
For this image I focused on how the light made the leaves more interesting and vibrant.
These leaves were just very interesting to me. I like that the leaves were imperfect and bending back.
Portfolio Pieces
I shot this image at the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, Colorado. I liked the color, design, and how the light emphasized the plant.
This image was shot at the Denver Botanic Gardens in Denver, Colorado. I photographed it because I was drawn to the vibrant green and the symmetry of the leaves.
These red leaves were also photographed at the Denver Botanic Gardens. I wanted to purposely use selective focus on the leaves and focus on the red and the design of these leaves.
Again, this bark was shot at the Denver Botanic Gardens. I think the Denver Botanic Gardens has a variety plants that would make nice portfolio pieces for me. I was attracted to the tree bark, because of the nice texture in it.
I shot this image at Washington Park in Denver, Colorado. When I saw this plant, and I took a picture of it because of the pattern of the leaves.
